Process from July 2019 - likely has changed
1. Log into Gmail
2. Click Settings icon, (the gear in the right hand part of the Gmail screen)
3. From the drop down, choose Settings
4. Click Accounts & Downloads tab
5. Check Mail from other accounts: click Add A Mail Account
6. Email Address: yourname@yourdomain.com
7. Click Next
8. Click Next again
9. Enter the mail settings: User Name: yourname@yourdomain.com
**Note: If your settings auto-populate with mail.yourdomain.com you will need to overwrite that with mail.techsurgeons.com
10. Enter the mail settings: Password: yourpasswordhere **This is your email password for your domains, not the Gmail password**
11. Enter the mail settings: Port: 995
12. Enter the mail settings: checkmark Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server
13. Enter the mail settings: checkmark Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail
14. Click Add Account
15. Your mail account has been added: checkmark Yes, I want to be able to send mail as yourname@yourdomain.com
16. Click Next
17. Add another email address to your own: click Next Step
18. Configure your mail to be sent through "site.com" SMTP server: SMTP Server: mail.techsurgeons.com
19. Click Port 465
20. Configure your mail to be sent through "site.com" SMTP server: Username: yourname@yourdomain.com
21. Configure your mail to be sent through "site.com" SMTP server: Password: yourpasswordhere
22. Configure your mail to be sent through "site.com" SMTP server: click Secured connection using SSL
21. Click Add Account
22. Confirm verification and add your email address: go to your webmail and get the code that Gmail sent you or click the link.
23. Click Verify
At this point when you go into your Gmail accounts inbox you will see your domain emails there. When you compose an email, you will see where your Gmail name is at, there will be a drop down, thats where you can choose your domain email to be sent from.
