MS Outlook 2013/2016 Email Configuration for Win10
This instruction assumes this is the first time you've opened Outlook and are performing the initial set up. This is strikingly similar to Outlook 2013, and everything appears to be the same and in the same place.

1. Open Outlook

2. Add an Email Account: check Yes and click Next

3. Auto Account Setup: Click Manual Setup on Additional Server Types and click Next

4. Add Account - Choose Service: Click POP or IMAP and click Next

5. POP and IMAP Account Settings: Your Name: Your Name

6. POP and IMAP Account Settings: Email Address: yourname@yoursite.com

7. POP and IMAP Account Settings: Account Type: IMAP

8. POP and IMAP Account Settings: Incoming Mail Server: mail.techsurgeons.com

9. POP and IMAP Account Settings: Outgoing Mail Server: mail.techsurgeons.com

10. POP and IMAP Account Settings: User Name: yourname@yoursite.com

11. POP and IMAP Account Settings: Password: yourpassword        **This is your email password**

12. POP and IMAP Account Settings: Click More Settings

13. Internet Email Settings: General Tab: Mail Account: yourname@yoursite.com

14: Internet Email Settings: Outgoing Server Tab: checkmark My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication

15. Internet Email Settings: Advanced Tab: Server Port Number: Incoming Server: 993 or 143

16. Internet Email Settings: Advanced Tab: Checkmark This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)

17. Internet Email Settings: Advanced Tab: Outgoing Server (SMTP):  2525 or 465 or 25  **Port  25 is blocked by many ISP's for spam**

18: Internet Email Settings: Click OK

19: Add Account: click Next (This will send the test emails, you may need to do this twice)

20: Add Account: You're All Set: Finish

** If you can't see the messages in your Inbox folder: Go into Account Settings -> Advanced and set the "root folder path" to INBOX -> then click OK **
